As an avid nature lover from Boulder, Colorado, my art practice is deeply rooted in my fascination with the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Inspired by the landscapes surrounding me, I create oil paintings that explore the intricate connection between humanity and the Earth. Drawing from over 40,000 photos of clouds and other natural elements, I loosely sketch and combine various images to create new compositions. In my studio in North Boulder, filled with bones, rocks, and treasures I've found while exploring the nearby foothills, I develop color palettes that capture the essence of the Western skies. I also enjoy welcoming the community into my studio, sharing my process, and connecting with new people in the community.
