I am an intuitive painter, and I rarely have a specific idea whenever I begin a painting. I respond to the moment and the environment and find my way through deep listening. I use acrylic paint because of its fast drying properties which allows me to work quickly with many layers of paint and materials. The photo transfer process is great for incorporating photo images into my otherwise abstract paintings.  Many of my paintings and etchings are created at artist residencies around the world, and I find inspiration in the magnificent landscapes and environments wherever I travel.
