Linda’s inspiration for painting has become a passion; a desire for self-expression. Linda has a personal painting style which combines realism with a touch of fantasy. She incorporates brilliant colors into her mixed media paintings. She enjoys painting southwestern landscapes, the beaches of Florida and California, and the mountains and plains of Colorado. Her signature ‘buffalo paintings’ are sought after by collectors nationwide.  Linda is a classically trained artist who has evolved into a contemporary fine art painter. She begins each painting with a plein air field study and then turns it into a larger composition. First, she starts with Gesso paint to prime her canvas and then paints the under painting with acrylic. Next, she finishes the finer details with oil paints.
