I create both functional and sculptural ceramics made from mid-fire porcelain and stoneware clay bodies.

I love working in a medium that incorporates all of the elements - earth, air, water, fire. I find myself forever drawn to sand and sea, and hints of this can be found in my work through textures and colors. I create timeless, yet modern pieces. I am especially drawn to playing with textures and negative space, and how that influences the feel and look of the pieces. Often my art has a sense of natural, organic, yet modern forms.
