Along the Oregon Trail

While traveling through Idaho, I came across this gorgeous landscape along the Snake river.  The early pioneers managed to cross the river at this spot along the Oregon Trail, floating their wagons across the water. The ones that made it then hauled everything up the river bank, dried out their belongings, and resumed their sojourn.
